Initial Consultation
The goal of the initial consultation is to introduce ourselves to you and your family pet(s), review previous medical history, and address current health needs. This includes a comprehensive physical exam, if your pet is ready. Some pets may still experience fear, anxiety, and/or stress, even when in the comfort of their own home. With a strong history, clinical signs, and a visual exam, evaluation and consultation can still be successful (depending on the presenting complaint). However, a follow-up appointment, with pre-visit pharmaceuticals (i.e., light oral sedatives), needs to be scheduled to complete the physical exam. This will be charged as a follow-up house call service.
